Display problem and rams slot

When i start my computer sometimes it don't show display and everything works perfectly but i didn't get the display and when i take out the ram and change the slots shaazam computer runs perfectly and it happens mostly. I have optilex 990 core i3 2100 please help. Me what kind of sorcery is this

Are you running a discrete GPU within that OptiPlex unit? Speaking of it, is it the MT, DT, SSF or the USFF version?

If changing the position of the rams in the slots allows you to boot up, it may be a sign that the rams is filing or that your system is giving up. Might want to see if you've got any pending BIOS updates and on another note, please run memtes86 for at least 10 passes and see if you get any errors.

I have ati radeon 4650 hd and what do you mean by Mt, Dt, SSF and UFF version?
