Hi, I've been using my Windows 7 PC quite happily for some time.
There's nothing wrong with it but it's more that I'm looking to have a question answered or an explanation.
I have a GTX970 and an AOC e2795Vh monitor.
My monitors' native resolution is 1920x1080.
Due to my visual impairment, I have it set at 1280x1024 - this works perfectly for my needs.
However, if I change the resolution higher (for example 1920x1080) - the windows desktop seems out of proportion.
In some resolutions, it seems as if things are squashing in from the side - I have no black bars around the display but it makes text very difficult to read.
Is this a setting I'm missing in Windows itself or should I calibrate the monitor?
Whilst I've said it works perfectly, and it does - for me, I'd like to know that I can increase the resolution if I ever needed to. (I game at 1280x1024 as well)
