I just built my latest PC, but something's wrong with it. There's a yellow diagnostics light under the BOOT letters, and my display is acting very weirdly.

Sig space specs can and will change over time. When that happens this thread and any possible suggestions/solution can be rendered moot to the person in the same boat as you're in now.
This is why we ask for people to post with their specs in the thread's body.
Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.
I was thinking the same thing when I read the post......Sounds like your monitor is set to look for a signal in HDMI2. There's probably a menu button on the monitor that will pop on an on-screen display to let you select DisplayPort.
My monitor isn't turning on, so I can't access the monitor settings, and the DisplayPort cable was already connected to the motherboard.Have you tried connecting the monitor with the same DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort on the motherboard?
Check if Auto Detection or Auto Scan is set to OFF in monitor settings.
It sounds like your monitor is faulty if you can’t even turn it on with no devices connected to it. Assuming it’s not user error. My monitor isn't turning on, so I can't access the monitor settings
You can't turn monitor on to access it's settings via the menu system sound like the monitor problem not problem with source or cable. My monitor isn't turning on, so I can't access the monitor settings, and the DisplayPort cable was already connected to the motherboard.
Displayport cable has to be connected to graphics card (not motherboard). My monitor isn't turning on, so I can't access the monitor settings, and the DisplayPort cable was already connected to the motherboard.
I have connected it to both the GPU and the Mobo, and I will try to turn it on without cables connected.Displayport cable has to be connected to graphics card (not motherboard).
You have RTX 4070 Super installed. Don't you?
And you should be able to turn on monitor even, if it is not connected with any video signal cables (DP or HDMI or DVI ).
If monitor says "HDMI 2 no signal" - then it is turned on.
No. Connect to graphics card only.I have connected it to both the GPU and the Mobo, and I will try to turn it on without cables connected.
