Hi All,

I am having this problem with my new 34" Acer ED347CKRbmidprzx ultrawide monitor. I have this monitor connected through Display port but I also have my TV connected to the GPU so I am using the extended desktop. Sometimes when I turn off the TV and turn the monitor back on, the monitor is split in a half as shown in the photo. What is also weird is that the split cannot be captured with a screenshot. Has anyone experienced this as well? Should I reclaim the monitor?

I can easily solve it just by either reconnecting the DP cable or restarting computer but it is still bothering me.

Thank you in advance.

This happens in your monitor itself. As you said, it can't be captures with a screenshot, meaning Windows sees everything being normal. Have you tried resetting your monitor to factory defaults? Your said your screen is new. If there's no setting that counters this, contact your reseller's support or return it.

Thanks, I just reset the monitor settings to default. I will now wait and see if it happens again or not.
