I've changed power settings (put to sleep-Never), and still every time screen goes black, monitor turns off, happens during shutdown as well..
Use desktop pc, LG monitor, NVIDIA Geforce 750 Ti graphics card....

Im not sure why try install driver for the monitor from that page. If you've already installed driver, uninstall it.

i had a look at the manual, its got several models into the one manual. There is an option for automatic standby after certain period but your model is not listed as having this feature.

When the monitor shuts down, what colour is the power button indicator? Whats it doing?

Also i asked if you needed to press the power button again to turn it on or does it turn itself on next time you boot the pc?
Whats the monitor model? Do you need to press the power button again to turn on?

There may be a setting in the monitor itself. I can't see how a PC would tell the monitor to turn off so my guess the monitor has a setting that when detecting no signal it turns off to save power.

Monitor Model - http://www.lg.com/in/support/support-product/lg-20M37D-B

Didn't see any option in monitor menu that suggests the prob..
It wasn't doing before, I recently re-installed windows and turning off during shutdown started...
Turning off when screen is black has been from beginning...
