Display w/no gpu in any shape or form?

I've just finsished building my first ever pc but it doesn't display anyhting when plugged in to my monitor. Is it not possible to display anything without a gpu or integrated graphics? If this is not the case, then what is able to be shown?

Correct, without the iGPU or GPU there will be no visual.
