So recently I bought a controller that came with a USB stick.
When this sitck is plugged in to the computer, my display won't go to sleep..
I know this is the problem because I've tried to remove it and it does go to sleep whenever it's not plugged in...
I don't want to keep on plugging and unplugging just for it to go to sleep...
Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?
Thanks!

It is not clear to me what the usb stick is for and what it is doing.

An external usb hub like this will have a switch to turn off the usb port without unplugging the usb stick.

A more complicated method might involve a command list that dismounts/disables the usb stick before issuing a sleep command.

windows 7 had an option on the device Manger tab to ignore all of the "commands" that made the pc stay awake coming from that USB device.
(sorry for the pretty bad explanation, but I'm not native, hope you still can understand what the problem is)
