Additional info: I have a triple monitor setup.

1 slot does not work in normal mode, if i switch monitors around on the ports, it's either monitor 1, monitor 2, or monitor 3 that stops working.

When i boot into safe mode, the slot works fine.

Tried:

DDU, Disabling display adapter & uninstalling it.

Everytime i go into safe mode the monitor boots,
When restarting to normal mode:
i see the bios,
i get to the windows loading icon
monitor goes black.

as soon as i plug the monitor into a different display port... it works fine.

ps. it is not being detected on Nvidia or device manager.

i am fresh out of options here.

If anyone ran into a similar issue, or knows the permanent fix... i'll be eternally grateful

What are your pc specs? If you have an Intel cpu try going to device manager and under display adapters disable intel graphics. Are your windows updates all installed?
I have an intel CPU but i am running this:
Asus Z270
i7 7700
RTX 2070
16GB DDR4
850W PSU

So disabling the intel display adapter is not possible since it's not active
