Can a displayport 1.2 handle a 100hz 1440 x 3440 ultrawide? Does gtx 1060 6GB support 1.2 DP?

Yes, a DisplayPort 1.2 cable can handle about 110hz at that Ultra Wide resolution and a GTX 1060 6GB supports up to DisplayPort 1.4. The setup that you’re trying to run should work just fine.
