So i've gotten a new graphics card, and with it i also ordered 2 moniters. only one of the have arrived though, but haven't been able to hook connect monitor via Dp.
If i am not able to have ATLEAST one connected via Dp, the other moniter is gonna be next to useless.
Cause my new GPU has 3xDp, 1xHDMI, and 1xDVI.
I know i can connect one moniter with HDMI, and one with DVI.
But i also seem to have accidentaly bend something inside my HDMI input, which prevents me from connecting anything there. (stupid, i know...)

So the GPU i've gotten is an EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 TI FTW Ultra Silent.

and the monitor is quesion is the ASUS VG248QE 24 inch

Also ordered the Dp cables through Amazon..

Have googled around and have found some threads about Turning your computer off, and disconnecting the power cable. and letting it "power cycle" i guess it's called.
But that doesn't seem to help me at all.

Am suspecting faulty cables, but am not really sure at this point. have tried most things that is shown on this thread, but no luck.
Would love if anyone have anything to suggest or could point me in a direction atleast.

Thanks in advance...

So my thread might've been abit rushed. i made it the same day i got the new monitor, and probably didn't give it enough to to "power cycle". but i left it overnight, just how must threads explain. (power and display cables disconnected) and it worked...
