I recently bought an NZXT BLD, and I plugged the DisplayPort and HMDI into the monitors and GPU slots, the hdmi works fine but the DisplayPort shows no signal. In windows settings, it even shows that the monitor is connected to the Gtx 1080, but it says it’s not active. Help. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Solution
Try some swaps: cables, monitors, ports.

Does the "not active" message move to a different port?

Key is to determine if the current "not active" connection is a physical fault or some configuration problem.

The NZXT BLD monitor worked okay via Display port on another computer.

The existing Display Port cable is known to work.

Correct?

Have you tried updating and reconfiguring the GTX 1080 drivers.

Windows 10 - try running the built in troubleshooters. The troubleshooters may find and fix something.

I updated the graphics card drivers and still nothing. However, I did find that when I look in advanced display settings, it actually shows two displays and that they are both connected to the gpu, but one of them says “not active”
