I don't know why they only put a DP port on the board.

Are you using a video card? If so it will have the boards DP disabled sometimes you can turn it on in BIOS.

If no video card is used if you have one you can install try that to see if the board actually works.

Not the F or KF version of the processor right as they have no built in video.

From their BIOS update or check for bent pins in the boards socket.

What monitor are you using?
You are saying when you try to change the resolution all other options are grayed out.
Unplug the monitor from the wall for a few minutes and then try it again.
i have Asus PG278q, if i disconnect the DP cable and restart the pc and login with team viewer i can see the full resolution, when i plugin the cable it switch to 640x480 instantly.
i try the cable on different mobo and its works find (connect it it DP on GPU).
i also uninstall all hidden screens but it come back with new screen driver called "Digital Flat Panel (640x480 60Hz)"
any other idea to solve this?

Right click on the desktop, select display settings, this should bring up you display can you change it their to 1080p or is it grayed out?

If its grayed out go to advanced display settings (right below the resolution) and make sure it is listing the monitor you have if it is then change the refresh rate to 59. whatever it list and try again.

EDIT I will post in a different section to try to get more help for you.

yes its grayed out , and it has only 59.9 and 60Hz

This is inelegant, but it works:
  1. Make sure Monitor #1 has DisplayPort 1.2 set as Enable.
Monitor #2 should be set as Disable.
  2. Open Device Manager. Click Monitors. Click View and Show Hidden Devices.
Uninstall the Digital Flat Panel (640x480 60Hz) device.
Also uninstall any hidden (greyed out) devices.
  3. Disconnect Monitor 1 from computer.
  4. Reboot computer
  5. Unplug monitors and wait a few seconds
  6. Plug monitors back in to power
  7. Connect Monitor 1 to computer.
I've had this problem for years and have searched all over for an elegant solution. To my knowledge, none exists.
