Question DisplayPort not working

I have a rather old monitor Benq xl2430t paired with a GTX 1070ti. I recently tried to use a DisplayPort (DP) cable again after not using for a while (i had times before where it didn't work). The first time i booted up my pc with the DP cable it worked and i actually was suprised since it didn't work before hand. But then when i turned off and on again my PC my monitor said "No connection" (or something like that). I then watched a YT vid on how to fix a DP not working, i basically had to unplug my monitor from the power and wait around 30 seconds and the replug the power. And it actually worked, my DP was working, but everytime i reboot my PC it stops working and i have to unplug monitor from power and replug it! Is this my monitor at fault?

You might want to see if another DisplayPort cable allows you to get display onto your panel. I own a GTX1070 and use DisplayPort+HDMI for my dual monitor setup. Might want to use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) and then manually reinstall with the latest GPU driver in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

BIOS version for your motherboard? What OS are you on? Might want to see if your OS is pending any updates.
