Question Displayport stopped working - RX 580

Well folks, I have a problem with my pc.

I was using my pc with a monitor and a sony TV, however the displayport ports of my video card stop working, I'm using a displayport adapter for hdmi to use on the TV.
When I connect my monitor through the adapter it switches from "no connected cable" to "no signal". It used to work fine, but now nothing shows up.

The only other thing I did on my pc lately was an overclocking, which I've already undone.

Already tried:
Disconnect and connect the TV and PC
I changed amd wattman settings
I put it on the other ports of DP


Nothing works, does anyone know what it could be?

Still in warranty? If so do RMA.

Cables and adaptors can go bad. I would start there first before pulling the GPU. Test the adaptor and cable with another PC if you can. Maybe a local computer store with a repair department would be willing to test it for free.

I will try to get a new adapter
