[SOLVED] Displayport to HDMI No Signal

I am using Fujitsu Thor Monitor that isnt getting a signal. I am using an adapter that has the HDMI going into my pc with the displayport into the display.

I don't understand the full reason, but changing displayport only works one way. Meaning Displayport out of video card to an HDMI display works where HDMI out of video card to a display port monitor does not. You need a display port to display port cable.

welp, that solves that!

In the meantime if you have Displayport out on the video card and HDMI in on the monitor you should get a picture. Just might run into issues if you are going for high refreshrates.
