[SOLVED] Displayport to HDMI to VGA

I have a two monitors with one VGA and one DVI port, I am currently trying to connect both of these monitors to my desktop which has one VGA and two display ports. Both monitors work with VGA to VGA connection, but when i try to use my adapters to connect either of them to the display port a no signal message pops up and i cannot find the monitor in the intel graphics properties. my adapter setup is (Desktop -> Displayport->HDMI->VGA-> Monitor) the two adapters are displayport->hdmi and hdmi->VGA. Are there any analog to digital conversion issues with this setup. The adapters work properly when used separately. Are there any windows settings i should be looking at?

You should use two displayport to DVI adapters. An all-digital interface between PC and monitor is best. VGA should be your last choice.

Stacking adapters is generally unreliable. Just get some simple DP to DVI adapters.
