Hello everyone

On my new pc build i need 3 hdmi ports. So i think a Asus ROG GTX 1060 will do in this configuration:

Use the 2 hdmi ports and buy a Displayport to hdmi cable.

But my question is will the quality of the Displayport to hdmi cable be the same as the standerd ports, if that is witch Displayport to hdmi cable should i use.

greetings Mouse

Solution
Both displayport and HDMI care digital signals. There's a transceiver in your GPU and a transceiver in the monitor. Thus, there's no degradation of the signal, unless you use really cheap, inferior cables. Displayport can support a little higher refresh rate for ultra HD, i.e. 4K monitors. In your case, any displayport to hdmi cable on amazon, newegg or monoprice will suit your needs.
