Displayport

Has anyone used displayport? Do any graphics cards use it? I bought a new 3008WFP that has displayport, can't seem to find any real reviews or advantages over DVI-D, anyone have any experience with it?

Displayport can carry upto 8.4mp video and iirc audio.

DVI-D can only carry upto 4.1mp video and can't carry audio unless you're using an ATi card.

The new 58xx cards use it, some workstation cards use it, some non-reference PCB graphics cards use it.
