I've just upgraded graphics card from a GTX 275 to a Radeon HD 6950 2gb but since i installed the new card I can't get to higher resolution than 1280x800. Before I was using 2560xXXXX~ resolution without a problem.
I've tried all kind of drivers without any success.
Just bought an HDMI-cable and plugged it into my TV and the other end into a HDMI-to-DVI converter into the computer and can get up to 1920x800 on the TV. (my monitor does not have HDMI)
My monitor is an HP LP3065 30" and isnt sold anymore as far as I know but as I said I was using 2560xXXXX on my old gfx so the monitor should not be the problem.
Nothing is flickering or anything so I highly doubt the card is broken.
Would love someone to help me fix this. Thank you!
