I used my PC hooked up to DisplayPort and when I booted it today I got no signal on my screen. I tried all 3 Displayport outputs from my Gigabyte 1080 and none of them would give me signal. I thought it was my GPU so I took it out and tried my 7700k's iGPU (HDMI on the MoBo) and it worked fine.
I hooked my 1080 back in with HDMI this time and I get signal. Now, I don't believe all three of my Displayport outputs (2 of which were untouched) would have died from working perfectly fine last night, but my display is kind of a budget one (Acer XF250Q). I have also tried another Displayport cable so it shouldn't be that either.
Is there anyway I can test my output or input and see which one is defective? Exchanging my monitor here in Japan will be a pain if its the issue since I dont have original packaging anymore, so I need to make sure it is defective.
Summary:
PS: I don't have access to a different DP screen
