Recently I decided to update my seriously outdated PC, one of those purchases being a Samsung 860 Pro SSD, and the SSD has been giving me some serious issues. Firstly one of my games Path of Exile would randomly require an update on steam (even though no update had been released) and when I attempted to update PoE it would say 'DISK WRITE ERROR', leaving me with no other option other than to uninstall the game and re-download it, currently I have PoE installed on my other hard drive and I haven't experienced the issue indicating an issue with the SSD (possibly just with that game).
So after a few days I decided to format the SSD to give it a clean wipe and try again, before I formatted the SSD I moved World of Warcraft (which I had been playing on the SSD completely fine for a few days by then ). However after formatting when I try to move WoW back onto the SSD it gets roughly half way through the file transfer until an error occurs saying that the file destination not longer exists, after a quick look I see that the SSD if no longer visible in file explorer, disk manager or device manager but is visible in the BIOS. This makes me unable to load other games that were on the SSD, however after restarting my PC the SSD is there again with all my games in there and all the files of WoW that were transfered before the SSD just... dissapeared? I have been able to successfully transfer smaller games such as Monster Hunter World to the SSD without it disappearing just for a little more information.
I downloaded Samsung Magician to update drivers for the SSD to no avail.
Please can I have some possible suggestions to fix this.
If my specs are required to help fix this then please ask.
