Dissimilar disk RAID and bottlenecks

I'm running an application that rely pretty heavily on fast read/writes, so I have 4 500gb SSDs in RAID 0 (hardware based), to back this up I have a 3tb HDD that regularly copies essential files, however this is far from optimum to me.

Does anyone know of a solution in which the drives (HDD + (4xSDD)) could be put into a RAID 1 config without slowing the speed of the SSD bank? I was thinking something software based that would use RAM as a write buffer until the HDD catches up but couldn't find anything on this through a couple searches.

Perhaps what I've got now is the best I'm going to get, but if you don't cast your net you'll never catch anything!

Solution
If you want it to be fast, Then take the 3TB HDD out of the loop! Using 3tb HDD to regularly copies essential files slow everything down

I did 3x four bay for SSD RAID5 rackmount with 4x 1TB SSD we get about 1700MB/s. We schedule back up at off hour
