[SOLVED] Distinct lines while in a dark scene on Odyssey G7 monitor ?

Sometimes, when a dark or mostly dark image is on my display, like a dark mode website or discord, The entire display has distinct lines in it, almost like an old CRT display.
This isn't something in my Windows settings because I've recently moved to linux and the issue persists.
Could this be some sort of feature of the monitor misbehaving?

According to hardware unboxed, the g9 has similar issues and it's just a QC issues. Don't know if you are experiencing the same thing.
