[SOLVED] Distorted images and text on Windows

For some reason, even after many Windows 10 reinstalls (now have Windows 11), some applications (I don't know for certain all of them) such as Visual Studio Code and Brave browser have weird, blurry and distorted text and some parts of it freeze.. I don't know how to explain it so I dropped some screenshots as I have no idea what's causing this. Not all apps / browsers have this issue as I've been using Opera GX for quite some time and this never occurred. I wanted to switch to Brave to mix things up (mainly for privacy reasons). It usually happens after switching something on / off in the settings / when I click on some areas. All help is welcome.

Solved this. just had to disable hardware acceleration. Please delete
