Hello Guys, some advice needed, I know the Intel card is somewhat faster and is going for a reasonable price in South Africa at the moment, any users with first hand gaming experience with this card ?
Any drawbacks pairing it with an AMD CPU ?

maybe step up to the ARC770 16gb your going to get better life span out of it ..

I paired my ARC 770 16gb for a little with the 5600x B550i it needs SAM to be activated to perform correctly 5000 series and up CPU's i think so you may have issues with your R5 1500 ..

Ive also read b550 min mobos for SAM but that was a old reddit thread maybe some one could confirm !!

another option could be a 6700xt or 6700 GPU !

I believe all the latest benchmarks are done with SAM enabled. the performance loss due to not using SAM should be similar in both 3050 and A750.

But then again, i just now understood that OP wants to upgrade to A750 from 3050. Not chose between 3050 and A750.

If thats the case, i would suggest saving up a bit more and go for 6750XT. that at least would make the upgrade worth it and a bit more futureproof.

B450 supports it just fine, its the CPU. You need Ryzen 3000 or later for AM4 reBAR support, and ability to turn on Above 4G Decoding. That means no Legacy Boot or CSM.
ahh okay a few posts ive read its was b550 and 5000 series few more has said b450 and 3600 but bios needs to be updated ..
From personal experience ive only used x570 b550 with a 3700x before SAM was a thing then 5000 series cpu's from then on !!

Problem is are 3600's still around these days new i mean
i wouldnt go a 6700xt with out a 750w (me i over kill stuff ) :)
