Hey all,
I want to ditch my optical drive because I never use it and my rig will look more attractive without it. I know how to remove it physically, but is there anything that may go awry in the programming of my PC/BIOS?
It shouldn't affect it, it will just remove it from the bios boot sequence. None of the pc's I've ever pulled drives out of have had any issues, it's similar to an additional hard drive in that it's either present or not.
