Hi, I have a Dell S2716DG and I want to run 144hz on my computer that I've got a few years back.

My graphics card is a R7 250.

My monitor doesn't have a DVI port, but only an HDMI and a Displayport.

I was wondering if it was possible to use a DVI to Displayport cable to run 144hz? (DVI being on my PC, and Displayport being on my monitor.)

Solution
To my knowledge and a couple quick searches they do not make a DL DVI to Displayport adapter and Displayport to DL DVI adapters are expensive and don't always work with the higher refresh rates. For $100(less than the cost of a dp to dl dvi adapter) you can get a GTX 1050 which not only has a DP but also will allow you to use the most expensive feature of that monitor(G-Sync).
