Sort of like Diablo, more interaction with people in towns and many more subplots and subtasks.

i thought the game was ok and the sequel is either just out or soon to be out. i thought arcanum was a little more inspired though. arcanum alows different races and your choice of paths, magic or technology or combo and it was much larger w/many more sub quests and a better plot. it should be in the bargain rack by now. also try septerra core. but it has trouble on xp w/out the right tweeks.
