Division Constantly Crashing

I'm currently trying to enjoy the newly release division game, and I am experiencing an abnormal amount of crashes compared to everyone I know (which is weird seeing I have the most powerful machine out of all of them). The game will have a short freeze for about half a second or less and then exit, leaving me with only a screen saying the game has crashed and would I like to send a report. The timing of this crash is random, I can have runs for up to 2 hour if not more with no problem and then I can have runs for like 5 minutes with crashes. There doesn't appear to be a pattern other than after a crash, my game will crash more frequently (like 1-5 minutes in) unless given a break. All temperature appear to be fine, everything is under 50* except the GPU which is at 60s-70s, and I haven't noticed any massive spikes in CPU or memory usage before a crash (though i does use a lot conspired to other games).
This appears to be only happening with this game, as I can play the witcher 3 with hair works on and max setting and suffer from little to no crashes. I have attempted a reinstall of the game, originally on my HDD but now moved to my SSD, and checked the integrity of the game files through steam, and the problem has not been resolve. Lowering graphic setting does not appear to fix the problem, and I've run out of ideas.

Please help me resolve this issue, my PC specs will be below and if you need any addition info, just ask. Thanks

OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700k 4.0GHz Quad Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus Maximus VIII Hero ATX LGA1151
RAM: Corsair Vengence LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-2666
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Superclocked + ACX 2.0

same problem, I had to erase all trace of it and download it again ,, late it patch all the way ,,then play ...have no problem now and I'm playing with an old gtx 560ti ...low res but hey ..it works ...ohh and kill your anti virus ...mine gave me problems. One last thing ,,,I deleted directx ..the installer pick it up and installed it again ....

Ok, did a lot more searching up on it, and turns out the games crashing because of uplay's in game overlay.
I suspect it interacts poorly with steams overlay cause this is the first time ive dealt with both at the same time.
I basically just disables it and seems there is not more crashing in the game.

And im sorry but again, i cant seem to close this as i cant select myself as the correct answer/solution and now i cant even select ragontx soo sorry.

Have you had any further issues with crashing? I'm going to try disabling UPlay and see if that fixes my crashing issues but, I wanted to know if you're running smooth now.

I've had the exact same experience with crashing that you describe and the specs on our machines are almost identical.

Hello Guys , i hope this thread isnt dead.

I have recently upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 and i am having the exact same issue. Random Crashes with the option to report. I had to re install the division when i came up to W10. could any of you dumb down the steps into fixing this for me as im not really up on the PC knowledge.

I was going to do an un-install of the game and re install it but with it being 32G and having Shite internet i would rather find a fix first.

cheers

windows 10 pro using a old i5 processor overclocked to 4.2Ghz, 16 gb ram, R9 series 290 card, all of this worked perfectly fine when i had windows 10 but i upgraded my motherboard cpu and ram to this i have now, and it keeps crashing, i would reinstall the game to test if it works better then. the issue might be in windows 10 or if youve upgraded your components but still use the game from the old harddrive. one of two.
