DIY Closed-Loop Water Cooling?

So I really want to get into water cooling.
Is it possible to make a closed water cooling loop by yourself by part parts and assembling them?

Sorry I was being misleading.
I kind of meant, is it possible to make something like a Corsair H100 or NZXT Kraken?
I really don't want to deal with reservoirs and all that fuss.
