Question DMC 5 Keeps crashing

DMC 5 keeps crashing every 19 minutes or so with the errors hresult=0x887a005 and HRESULT=0x887a0006 .

I've tried reinstalling the game, editing the dmcconfig file line Capability=DirectX12 TargetPlatform=DirectX11 to both 12 and 11, as well as reinstalling the latest NVIDIA drivers. Its 466.77 in case its needed. Nothing solves it, it still crashes. Editing the config file only makes it crash 18 to 20 minutes later and the game converts it back to Capability=DirectX12 TargetPlatform=DirectX11. I'm at a loss here. Hopefully someone can help as DMC 5 is a fantastic game.

Specs:
Ryzen 5600x
x570 tomahawk
16gb ram
gtx 970 (won't upgrade for price reasons)
windows 10 64 bit

I came from an intel build with an I5 4670, z87 mobo, 16gb ram and the gtx 970 and I played the game with no issues whatsoever. Thanks for any help.

So far yes, it's only dmc. I migrated my boot drive to the new build, so no its not a fresh os install
