I manage websites, I have one that I recently switched host companies with.
The new one has a different IP of course.
I work from home on a desktop workstation.
For some reason, this computer will NOT clear DNS cache so I can view the website at its new IP address on the web.
I have tried almost everything I know of to clear DNS cache.
Even pinging in CLI is still showing the old host IP address and of course a no response to the ping. Yet if I go to my cell phone, the domain name resolves just fine, and at the library, and in another state, etc.
All other devices and regions are able to resolve the domain/dns.
I have tried almost everything:
-switching host DNS settings
-switching router DNS (privates and automatic)
- flush dns, renew, release
- browsers hacks, 4 browsers attempted, in all modes.
-Restarting PC
-Restarting Router and modem
How can this be possible?
I have tested these DNS servers also on my host AND router:
- ISP automatic ones
- 1.1.1.1
- 9.9.9.9
- 8.8.8.8
