hello
I have windows server 2012 r2 internal domain named mydomain.local. I want purchase external domain for mail server "kerio connect". mydomain.com is not available and I need to configure dns server when internal and external domains are not the same. some help please

Solution
It all depends who will be the DNS server for mycompany.com. If you designate your own server as DNS server (highly not recommended without a backup outside of your premises), then yes, you should set up a primary zone for mycompany.com on your Windows server.

"for your home" - if you have home ISP contract, most probably your ISP will block your SMTP server, and most of recepients will classify your messages as spam.
Your internal "mydomain.local" has nothing to do with your external domain, yourcompany.com

You need several things in order to do that:
- you need static IP address (and your ISP contract should allow for server)
- you need to configure the DNS setting in your registrar (eg GoDaddy) to point to that IP address
- you need to open the firewall for incoming SMTP connections
- you need to configure your mail server (Kerio) for your domain

But - you will have a lot of problems with mail sent from your senver NOT to be considered as a spam.
