Alrighty, so my network has a DNS feature that will automatically block certain sites from pulling up, porn ect. I am using the computer to download things for games ect. Basically, it will block the website, no matter the content. This gets really annoying and frustrating. I am looking into changing my DNS on my computer. Firstly, will this change anything that my browser does? Secondly, will this effect the router I am using or just make it so that I use a different DNS and no one else is directly effected. I do not have Admin permissions on the OpenDNS so I would like a way to essentially get rid of it just for me. Thank you to anyone who is willing to help.
