i am from india here in my town Power shut down happens frequently so i need a UPS to save the working content and shut down PC safely no worrries about backup time.
my current PC is old one and i use 600 VA UPS it restarts my PC during power shutdown
so it almost crashed my harddrive so i dont want such thing to happen to my new PC

Do 1KVA ups good enough for 750 watt PSU

Hi

It is highly unlikely that your PC & Graphics cards draw anything near maximum power of PSU except when gaming

The 1k VA UPS is ok for a 750W PSU

modern PSU with power factor correction & high efficiency are even better

The problem is how long the battery lasts before it gets replaced and quality of UPS

if your UPS has a self test mode and it says replace battery dont ignore warning.

I had a cheap UPS which after a few years the battery leaked acid on the carpet

So I went with APC (which is usually considered a good brand)

It depends of UPS efficiency, but most common output for 1kVA is 600W (better find out what actual output is in Wats). In worst scenario your GPU (250W)+CPU(125W)+mobo(50W) will drain ~530W (425W nett/0,8) from the plug so its too close to be used on PC's full load.
