Question Do 11th Gen Intel CPU Run Hot?

I hear tell that the 11th gen cpus run hot? Is this true or just a rumor? Thanks example:

Price to pay for number of cores, frequency and performance is in units of heat, just can't expect an i3 and i9 to produce same amount of heat and with it temperature.
High/low temps is pretty stretchy, only important part is how high temps are allowed before they start loosing performance, throttle or shut down. It's not important unless that happens.

That's what happened to me. I had a Intel Core i7-11700. It kept shutting down my computer. Most likely due to ASUS MultiCore Enhancement. So I swapped it out with Amazon for an i5-10600. No problems now. Thanks

Doesn't matter. I just need a computer that works for some minor business and 5 to 6 hours of gaming daily. I was having a fit of problems for 9 months trying to get WOS 10 Pro 64 bit to work on my old MB
