Do all GPUs of the same model overclock the same?

I've seen overclocks and the various settings for graphics cards from computer hardware sites, and was wondering since they have the exact same model as I do, if I just take their numbers and use that as a reference to overclock my R9 285, will I get stable performance? Also since I use an AMD card, can anyone point me in the direction of which program to look at? Is the default AMD Overdrive good enough?

Solution
I always use MSI afterburner for normal overclocking, it is easy to use and works very well. as for what you can achieve, I always work my way up on both memory and core clock by 10MHz increases (one at a time) until I can get no further with out going past what ever voltage limit I deem to be a goal. while you should get what others are getting on that exact same model, there is a silicon lottery of sorts, so you may be able to do much better, or you may not get as good results. Do not be afraid to bump the voltage by 10-30 mV or more. MSI afterburner will not let you fry a card it seems.
EDIT= spelling

i use msi afterburner on many of my computers it has never hurt a card and works GREAT.

Thank you for your quick reply. :) What prevents it from frying a card? I have a rather shoddy card from Clud 3D, which apparently doesn't have much of a reputation here at Tom's. Some review states that it doesn't overclock that well compared to MSI or EVGA cards, I.e. ~14% increase in gpu clock speed, 17% increase in memory speed. The gaming profiles you can make in Afterburner seems nice, doesn't it switch between those profiles automatically (Watching a movie vs 3D gaming)?
Also last question, is the gpu clock speed, memory speed, and voltage the only 3 things to touch when overclocking?

For what you are doing, yes, voltage fan speed Core and memory are all that is needed. it should only use one profile that you have selected, but you can change profiles with about two clicks. MSI afterburner will often not let you give the card enough voltage to fry it. just avoid the far reaches of the voltage bar if you are worried.
