do all p8b75-m lx come with 4g ram as standard.i am looking to scale up to 8g. do i have to buy 2x2g ram or can i buy a 4g. i think it has a 2x2g ram

That motherboard only has two memory slots and supports dual-channel.

If you want to increase the amount of ram you have, it is best to buy a dual-channel kit for the amount of ram you want.

If you only have one memory stick installed, you should buy an identical stick and install.

If you have two memory sticks installed, you will have to get rid of them and replace them with a two new, larger sticks.
