Do Asus TUF X299 MARK 2 AND I5 7640x are for gaming ?

Hello!
I got a 2 questions:
Does ASUS TUF X299 MARK 2 AND I5 7640X ARE GREAT for gaming?
For games like: R6S , FORTNITE, GTA 5 , CSGO?

And does this PC is great for gaming?

ASUS TUF X299 MARK 2

INTEL I5 7640X

ASUS ROG RADEON RX580 STRIX TOP GAMING

16 gb RAM 3200MHZ

WINDOWS 10

Yeah it's fine for gaming. However I would never even consider building something like that. The i5 7640x is just a more expensive i5 7600k on the X299 platform with no iGPU. The 7640x is a ridiculous cpu that should not even exist in my opinion. Who wants a quad core i5 on and enthusiast platform like X299? Many X299 mobos cost more than the i5 7640x.

An i7 8700k build on the Z370 platform would perform much better and likely only be a bit more expensive. An i5 8600k build on the Z370 platform would also perform better and likely be cheaper.
