Do ATI cards work on intel motherboards ?

i wonder if ATI cards could run on intel motherboards .... and if nvidia cards run on AMD motherboards

But if you are going to use crossfire/SLI with 2 or more cards make sure the board supports it.
Single cards work on any board that has pci-e 16x slot.
