Do Cat6 ethernet cables need special ports?

Hey Everyone,

I'm upgrading to Cat6 ethernet cables but I don't know if I need special ports on my computer?

You don't need special ports because it uses the same RJ45 connections as the other network cables.

Edit: Wanted to add that the major difference between CAT5 and 6 is the amount of twist in the cabling.
