do drives have drivers that need downloading / updating?

getting all my pc parts tomarow and was wondering if HDD or SDD had drivers i needed to download or in the future update. below are the two drives im talking about.

Windows will find whatever drivers are needed. It will even format the drive during installation of Windows.

The SSD is a plug and play device, Samsung doesn't make any drivers for it.
