Do gaming motherboards glow at night?

Hey there everyone.

I am going to buy a MSi B85 G43 Gaming motherboard.

It has very cool red heatsink with MSi dragon.

I only want to know that does it glow at night.

Just for my gaming rig color theme.

Even if there's a lot of boards that you can set the board LEDs to glow when it is off, your's don't have this feature. Sorry

And unlike keyboards I've never seen a way to turn them off. As long as you have a solid case it shouldn't provide much light. Perhaps just use the sleep mode in windows?

? Who cares if it glows if your case is solid and you can't see inside? Or if you use sleep/hibernate when you sleep then the glow will turn off.

I know that my Maximus VII Hero motherboard's Chipset heatsink and the Audio PCB line lights up in red which looks AMAZING.

I've got the same mobo ^^ Asus Maximus VII Hero and it looks great.. Audio PCB and heatsink glows.
Best thing is in BIOS I can turn it on or off.
But most important thing to you should be all the features you're buying the mobo for not "some cool light".
I don't believe your mobo glows.
I have a friend with MSI Z87-GD65 which is a bit of a pricey board and it has the dragon on a heatsink.. and there's nothing that glows.

Yes, this mb will glow at night with the heatsink, but it should be under your gpu,
and I dont think you have to turn it off....it just cool!

How many more answers do you need? Here is the manual if you want to read it and see if you can turn it off in the bios. But you'll have to restart the computer every time you want to do that.

Otherwise, as I said, block the windows, turn the case so you can't see inside, put tape/paper over the sink, etc.
