[SOLVED] Do hard drives get damaged when couriers don't handle them gently?

So I just recently received a 2tb hard drive, I'm wondering if hard drives get easily damaged while it's being shipped? In what instances does it get damaged? Like a 2 feet drop?

NO, unless physically damaged they can stand 90-100 Gs acceleration while not running and with heads parked.
