Question Do hard drives make a lot of heat?

I'm building a PC, and the case is designed so that 3.5 inch drives can go on the panel opposite the motherboard on the right side of the case, if looking at the front. Case is called Couger Panzer Max. If I put one hard drive there, is that going to give off heat to the back of the board? Is it sumptheeng I should be worried about?

My Qnap NAS box has 4x 4TB HDD's in close proximity. No more than 0.5" between them.
In a very small case.
Inside a small closed cabinet under the TV.
Running 24/7.
Current ambient temp of 23C.
