Hi guys!

Quick question. I am building my first PC with the primary use as a media center for music and 4k movies and streaming and a bit of web browsing,(there will be no gaming). My question being, is It vitally necessary to also run a video card on top of what I already have or will my motherboard and processor suffice on there own . will there be any benefit or noticeable difference for my limited needs. with or with out the card.

I am using a Gigabyte Z170-HD3 ddr4 mobo and i5-6600K processor

Many thanks.

The i5-6600k comes with integrated Intel HD Graphics 530, and that is plenty for a media center.

You don't really need a dedicated graphics card unless you are gaming or working with video/ graphics development.
