Well i was gonna get the corsair cs450m for my dell inspiron 3847 but im not sure if the AMD radeon 7750 would work with my system..SPECS..i3-4150 (this cpu takes out about 54w.found out from pcpartpicker) and i have 8 gb of DDR3 RAM. I have the intel hd 4400. dell 300w PSU

You could probably get away with using 300w for the 7750 configuration, but the dell PSU isn't of extremely high quality. You can't be sure that it's actually outputting 300w (unless you test it) and it might have a higher chance of failing soon than a respectable PSU manufacturer. If you have the new money for a new PSU then it would be a worthy investment, especially considering future upgrades to your kit.
