Hey I'm kinda stuck in a dilemma. I currently have £400 in the bank ($490) should I...

A) Buy a PS4 with BF1 and Overwatch for £280 and get a PC when I'm older and have a better job

B) Save this £400 and keep working my ass off at McDonalds which is £4.25 PH (I'm 16) and buy a new PC (https://gladiatorpc.co.uk/configure/config/65215)

Solution

There are loads of tutorials on Youtube, or just on the internet. Lots of people think its hard, but it really inside. As long as you know how to use a screwdriver, you can build your own pc. Pre-Built computers, are a lot more expensive to buy, than to buy the parts separately and then to assemble them.

All my mates have built their PC's and to be honest, I'm too scared of fucking it up.

Okay I'm gonna keep thinking about it thanks for the advice I'm gonna look at some tutorials.

A PC is considered a basic need.
A gaming PC or a gaming console are nice to have.

If you do not have any PC at all, getting a PC is must.
If you already have a PC or laptop to work on, you can choose between upgrading the PC into a gaming PC or getting a gaming Pc or getting console as you like.

I already have a PC but its about 6 years old and can't run any of the new games.

If you have already a PC and have only gaming in your mind, you can choose either going for a big overhaul to make your PC back to gaming world.
You can post your current specs, complete specs, so we can take a look at it.
You can also simply keep your curent PC and buy a gaming console.
Any of the options are fine.

A powerful gaming PC is still far superior but console is ok.
Having a Pc for the work (inet, youtube, basic office, etc.) and a console to game on is not bad choice too.

It is different from person to person, for me, I need quite a powerful machine to do my type of work (rendering, video+photo editing, heavy Matlab to C compiling), I simply push my rig a little bit moe and make it a gaming rig too. A console is not really an option for me, I just have to make the full use of my working PC by using it as gaming PC too.
