Just to get this out of the way, my build:
Motherboard: Msi fm2-a75ma-e35
CPU: Amd athlon x4 750k (3.4ghz currently, but it can go up to 4.0)
GPU: Gigabyte R9 270x
PSU: CX500M
Ram: 8Gb of Corsair Vengence 1600mhz
OS: Windows 7 64 bit
So, I have been playing battlefield 4 with this build, (Yes, latest drivers from amd), and i usually get around 65fps on low settings at 1080p (it does fluctuate very often, and it depends on what gamemode I am playing on).
Mantle is coming out, which could very well improve overall performance for Next-gen games.
Bf4 is a brand new game, plus my gpu is a new gpu aswell. (Maybe they will fix it in patches and driver upgrades).
So, would overclocking to 4.0ghz and maybe upgrade to windows 8.1 make a difference in overall system performance, or do i have a bottleneck? (I am also planning on upgrading psu to a 750w).
