A few months back i upgraded my cpu from a amd A-4 4000 to a amd athlon x4 845 to eliminate the bottleneck caused by the gtx 1050 but i didn't get any better, a few weeks back i downloaded CPU-Z to check if everything is ok and i saw that i only have 2 cores and 2 threads, so i search for some videos about the cpu and find out that the cpu should have 4 cores and 4 threads

I am really confused please help me

Where'd you buy it?

This is what it should look like in CPU-Z

What specifically is your motherboard?

i bought it on amazon

my motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-DSH2

and everything apart from the number of cores, threads and memory looks the same in CPU-Z

There is no harm in resetting your BIOS to default values. (not to be confused with flashing the BIOS) You can reset the BIOS by clearing the CMOS. You can do that by either removing the CMOS battery and waiting for however long it takes to clear out, could be a few seconds or a few minutes; or by shorting the clr_cmos jumper.
